This is an enhanced second edition of a work originally published in 1993 as "Walks in the Western Isles". The opportunity has been taken to re-vitalise many of the original walks and to substitute several more adventurous ones, taking resourceful walkers to some of the finest heights and remotest corners of this long ribbon of islands, each with its own distinctive characteristics.
